Ancle tattoos for girls

Especially when young women are not so sure about getting a tattoo (caveat: definitely think about it carefully), they often pick their ancle, as it can easily be covered and the tattoo is carefully hidden there. The ancle can e.g. be the right place for a small flower or a beautiful and romantic little fairy.

Anyhow, be aware that getting a tattoo on your ancle can be a painful experience. As there is only very little fat (thank god) on your ancle, just plain skin covering the bone, getting a tattoo there may hurt a lot more than on any other part of your body.

So you might want to consider getting your tattoo done a little above your ancle where there is more fat to avoid more pain than absolutely necessary.

Whatever you might decide, I have to admit that the ancle is my personal favorite spot for a tattoo on the body as it just looks gorgeous especially if you are wearing high-heels with it and even more so during summer when you don’t need to wear any stockings.

Enjoy!

How to care for your girlie tattoo during summer

by admin on July 19, 2009
in girly tattoos

Spring and summertime are usually the most popular times to get a new tattoo. As the temperature rises we do not need to cover our bodies with so many different layers of clothes any longer. We can proudly show our naked arms, legs, sometimes even our bellies and enjoy the warm sun on our bodies. And of course, show all of our beautiful girlie tattoos. Just great and very sexy, too. I love the summer.

But due to the decreasing ozone layer the sun isn’t all that friendly any more. In fact it tended to become more and more aggressive during the last couple of years. So exposing your body to the sun for too long (and a little can already bee far too long in this case), can not only cause severe sunburns, which may led to skin cancer later on, but it also has an effect on your tattoos. To prevent your girlie tattoos from bleaching you should definitely make sure to use a very good sun-blocker with a high sun protection factor, which you should apply directly onto your tattoo. You might want to consider using a baby sun-blocker with a sun protection factor of 25 or higher. Don’t forget to renew it whenever you went into the water or took a shower as the sun-blocker will be washed away immediately. Even if you decide to just sit in the sun for a couple of hours, skipping a refreshing bath, you should apply a new layer of sun-blocker every hour or so.

To be honest, the best thing to do would be to cover up your tattoos alltogether with any kind of clothes. This can be a T-Shirt, a loose blouse or even a piece of towel, depending on where on your body your girlie tattoo is. There are even clothes with kind of built-in sun protection today which you might consider wearing.

Definitely avoid getting a sunburn on your tattoo (avoid getting any sunburn alltogether because of the risk of skin cancer) as it will not only bleach the colors of your tattoo but will also wear it off when your skin starts peeling.

Wearing a tattoo doess affort special skin treatment for sure, even more so during summertime.

Anyhow - enjoy the warm weather and let everybody have a glimpse of your beautiful girlie tattoos (if appropriate of course…).

All the best to you

Find excellent tattoos for girls at Chopper Tattoo

When I first stumbled upon the website of Chopper Tattoo I just couldn’t believe what they were offering me. To be honest, I was a little sceptical at first. The website had a nice and professional looking design which I liked at first glance, but as they didn’t give too much information before signing up, I wasn’t really sure if this was the right place.

To cut a long story short: It definitely is the right place and I did sign up, as the price is about as phenomenal as the content you are getting. For US$ 34,44 you get LIFETIME and unlimited access to the whole selection of thousands and thousands of tattoo designs. And for an additional amount of US$ 4,99 you can include unlimited lettering tattoo designs as well. And there comes a special bonus with this offer: Free music downloads (worth $ 297) and a free issue of the ink-magazine.

I do a lot of business on the internet and I see lots of so called special offers every day, but I very rarely come across such a fair and good offer like this one here - if you are interested in tattoos that is, of course.

Among others you can pick here from a selection of:

• Arm Band Tattoos,
• Belly Button Tattoos
• Butterfly Tattoos
• Cat Tattoos
• Celtic Tattoos
• Chinese Tattoos
• Cross Tattoos
• Fairy Tattoos
• Fantasy Tattoos
• Flower Tattoos
• Heart Tattoos
• Japanese Symbol Tattoos
• Lower Back Tattoos
• Mermaid Tattoos
• Angel Tattoos
• Religious Tattoos
• Women Tattoos
• Rose Tattoos
• Tribal Tattoos

and many, many more.

I already mentioned in several posts before how important it is to pick the right design, the one design that is right just for you. The best way to find it, is to look at as many different designs you can. Here is your chance to do so.

And the best thing: You can download every single design, print it out and take it to your favourite tattoo studio. They can tell you if they can do it or even can make a unique tattoo just for you according to your wishes. With a Chopper Tattoo Design you always have at least an idea to start from (if you do not want to use the original design).

New tattoo designs are added to the Chopper Tattoo Gallery frequently so you will never run out of ideas for your tattoos for girls.

Allergic reactions to your girly tattoo

by admin on August 28, 2008
in girly tattoos

It doesn’t really matter if you are a guy or a girl and what kind of tattoo you are getting. Allergic reactions can happen to everybody.

It doesn’t happen as often as one might think, but it happens. As experience shows, mostly allergic reactions are caused by the colors red and yellow or colors which contain red and yellow. It can be that an allergic reaction will not happen right after you got the tattoo but many weeks or even years later. Your body changes and so may your allergic status, and one day, all of a sudden you react allergic to your tattoo or, to be exact, to the ink that has been used.

How do you know that you have an allergic reaction?

In most cases an ink allergy will be itchy and raised only in certain spots of the particular color and irritations will remain with you for a longer period of time. Special ointments may solve the problem or, for serious cases, a medical perscription or even the complete removal of the tattoo may be necessary.

But, don’t panic - as mentioned right in the beginning, those kind of skin reactions do not happen very often.

Anyhow, just to make sure you are safe, you might consider to see a dermatologist before getting a tattoo. And if you tend to have allergic reactions to many things, you might stick with a black tattoo and/or non-chemical colors.

Girly tattoos

by admin on August 18, 2008
in girly tattoos, small tattoos

Popular girly tattoos are little fairies (e.g. tinkerbell tattoos), cat tattoos, butterfly tattoos and turtle tattoos. All of them look beautiful on girls and young women. Anyhow, before getting an especially girlish looking tattoo, consider that you will not stay 18 or 20 forever. Try to picture yourself as a mature woman - will the cute little fairy on your shoulder still look sexy then? Not very many girly tattoos will add to the good looks of a 50+ woman.

In most cases it is not a very good idea to get the same tattoo as all your girlfriends have, either. You may be very close to them now, but chances are this will not stay the same for the rest of your life. Later on you might regret having decided for an especially fashionable tattoo. Your tattoo will be old-fashioned long before you are.

Tattoos for girls do not necessarily have to be girly tattoos. If you feel more comfortable with a tribal, a cross or any other design - go for it.

“Think before you ink” is an important statement when it comes to tattoos for girls. As a tattoo, no matter what design you will decide on, will stay with you and on your body most likely for a lifetime, it sure is wise to get as much information as possible before getting a tattoo .

When it comes to design, the most important thing is, that you will feel comfortable with it for a long period of time, hopefully forever. A tattoo should never be anything you will regret later on but something that means something to you and something to be proud of. Check out wonderful and unique tattoo designs over here.

Tattoos for girls

Tattoos for girls have become quite popular during the last years. More and more female celebrities wearing their tattoos openly may have helped to lift the social blockade for girls with tattoos.

Nevertheless getting a tattoo is a decision which has to be made carefully, especially for a girl or a young woman. A tattoo will stick with you forever or at least very many years and getting it removed still is complicated and painful.

Everything starts with deciding where on the body the tattoo should go. A very common place for girls to get their first tattoo is the lower back but shoulder blade, bum or arms are also quite popular. Take into consideration that you will not stay young forever and that your skin will change with age and so might your tattoo. Before really getting into it, you might want to start with a place on your body that is easy to hide - just in case. Not every boss or customer is open minded and liberal and might be offended by your tattoos.

At the moment Butterflies, Flowers, Dolphins, Stars and Fairies are quite popular tattoos for girls. It is wise not to only go with the fashion, but to pick a tattoo design which you will be comfortable with for a long period of time - even after the fashion dictates something else. Be especially careful when it comes to the name of your lover. He might be gone one day but the tattoo will stay with you and your next boyfriend might not want to look at it all the time. Better stick to symbols or pictures.

Tattoos for girls may be popular but we still do not really know much about how it is going to be done, if it hurts, what kind of colours wil be used, how the skin may react to it and so on. It will defenitely be too late to think about all those questions when you are sitting in a tattoo studio and somebody is already working on your body. So the best thing to do is to gather as much information as you can before you take the final step. Ask other girls how they got their tattoos, how they chose the design, etc. They may be able to recommend a tattoo studio as well. Go to different tattoo studios, ask all the questions you may have, let them show you example tattoos they did. If they do not want to take the time to talk to you and answer all your questions, this is defenitely not the right place for you.

And please: If you are not 18 yet, you need the permission of your parents. A good tattoo studio will act responsible and ask for your id and/or your parents’ permission anyway.
